Psychotherapy for Professionals
Psychotherapy for leaders, executives and business owners.
Being a leader, someone who is accountable for the well-being, success and enlivening others requires constant access to a pool of energy or connection to source so that you feel energised to engage meaningfully with those you lead, actively-listen to their needs, repeatedly be inspirational, visionary, focused and able to honing in and make wise decisions fast and/or creating change that benefits employees, shareholders and investors.
Being a leader can feel isolating and at times lonely even.
Imagine having someone to work one-on-one with who has been there. Someone who burnout because she failed to tune into the subtle cue's informing her she needed external support and yelling out at her from within 'you can't keep doing it ALL on your own'. The her I'm referring to is Yvette Hughes.
Yvette now believes that her breakdown was her breakthrough and after resigning from a senior leadership position she went onto study, human behavioural motivation, psychotherapy and somatic coaching, and is currently created an inner-leader mastery program in alignment to her completion of the Inner-MBA with Mindful NYU.

Being a sole-trader, a leader or business owner is not easy. Let's face it when you have to hold space, accountability and responsibility for so many other Souls, you will often put your own well-being last and yet how can you truly be your best self and show-up genuinely and authentically, when you are feeling drained, exhausted and in need of some rest.
Did you know..
Women are more guilty of putting everyone else's needs and demands first and this can lead to burnout.
So rather than being a statistic or simply being another amazing women who collapses, throws in the towel or jumps ship, how about you get the support you need to be you best self each day.
Inner-Self Mastery emerges through self-awareness and therefore body oriented psychotherapy is powerful as it is existentially informed, emotionally agile and provides a space for leaders and professionals to safely vent, explore and express outwardly the events, beliefs, struggles, pain and suffering they have to keep hidden in their daily life.
Women often struggle to own their power in a way that strengthens their capacity to lead and can have a tendency to do it all on their own. Many bottle up and constrict access to their intuition or feel ashamed to own their hearts compassion openly for fear of being told she's too sensitive and so they depend on their thinking brain alone and wonder why they feel misunderstood, misjudged and not appreciated.
Women and the P word...
Why do so many women struggle with the word 'power' or being 'powerful'?
Many women in leadership appear to have confused power with an outdated patriarchal way of leading that is aligned to a somewhat Makavellian style which is to lead through fear, control and force and so rather than being inpowered, [in-her-power], as a women leading and honouring her softness within strength she hides aspects of her for fear being seen as weak, sensitive or lesser than her male peers. This leads to disease, feeling disempowered, not living congruently to her true-self, genuine expression, and she burns out.
Inpowerment processes for female leaders is essential if we are going to change how women make their way to:
Yvette herself has experienced what's required of senior level female leaders, executives and business owners to be consciously present, grounded and genuine in their integrity, resilience and influence even when it feels like you have little left to give and thus the extra mile is often done at a huge personal expense to ones wellbeing.
Yvette brings with her a way to create a container for all that which can not be shared elsewhere and to embody new ways to process and transcend the archaic silent expectations bestowed upon female leaders. It truly is liberating!
Being a friend to yourself is crucial to your ongoing success, yes it sounds like BS, but...
Making time for yourself to sit in a space where you can rest down, pause and vulnerably try on new ways of being a leader is the greatest gift a conscious leader can bring to their self-care. In doing so the women who courageously go there, feel topped-up, rejuvenated and inpowered to rise-up and being their true-nature; a leader living her capacity to influence and inspire meaningful changes at work and within her community and even leave a legacy.
Somatic Coaching/Psychotherapy can help you to navigate…
With more than 20 year’s experience in senior leadership positions and leading organisational change processes, along with being an advocate for equality and conscious leadership within large Australian corporations Yvette knows firsthand what it's like to be a woman trying to navigate one’s way through the patriarchal and archaic dysfunctional system. The constant effort required to excel is tiring and no women should do it on her own.
Yvette openly shares that she did experience burnout and although it was humiliating and embarrassing at that time, she is forever grateful as it was positively life-changing after she got over the initial emotional roller coaster ride. Her breakdown, or breakthrough, led her back to completing post-graduate studies in human behavioural motivation and to become a coach and psychotherapists to professionals (primarily leaders and business owners) so that she can support others in their evolution and prevent long-term suffering and/or prevent another women from having to exit their job to recuperate and replenish when there are other wiser and kinder paths forward.
So if you are tired of keeping all the balls in the air on your own then make a commitment to yourself today to change that and to resolve what's impacting you so that you can live and lead to your fullest capacity. Emotional-awareness will set you free, being mindful in how you integrate your evolution will Liberate Your Spirit and change the lives of those you touch too. Inpowerment processes for female leaders is essential if we are going to change how women make their way to:

- no longer waiting for an invitation to go for a promotion
- no longer working twice as hard as their male peers to prove herself suitable
- stop apologising for valuing the wellbeing of her children above her tasks somedays
- stop apologising for feeling how the decision of the business impacts and affects their people
- start to use her voice as frequently as men do in meetings and classrooms
- to stop fearing being ridiculed 'just' for being a women, and
- prevent burnout because she hasn't being living aligned to her truth, her wisdom and her values
