Group Coaching, Team Building/Development & Enriching Relationships to succeed!
Inspiring High Functioning Teams to be their best, to grow, evolve and make lasting useful change!
A passion that I hold close to my heart is developing high functioning teams and it is also what I miss most of all since leaving the corporate sector as an employee.
We can learn so much more when we are an active part of a collective, providing that the environment is salubrious to all.
Research reflects how much more we learn and retain when we are an active participant in a functionally healthy team environment. Sadly, highly functional teams across most levels of many business seem to be rare today and yet they are actually rather easy to co-create when the right processes of change are being facilitated to both the group and to those individually within that group; and this is something Yvette at h4s does really well.
What is a functional healthy team?
A functional team is robust and yet simultaneously compassionate, as without compassion one lacks the capacity to really listen, that is to deeply listen to what is being said as well as what is implicit. Making the implicit explicit brings a wealth of knowledge, comradery and vitality thus enhancing significantly the potential for the team to excel.
Highly functioning teams recognise the strengths of one another and work with those strengths to succeed, yet they also recognise that we are not great at everything and therefore do not delegate duties aligned to a team players weakness, as this will reduce that individual's capacity to contribute, to add value and to feel valued. Simple processes, such as modelling, help to up-skill all team members and it is through such collective evolution that the team grows, expands and excels!
Group Coaching is more powerful than any short term learning program.
Research indicates that most employees only retain 10 - 20% of ay training program 3-weeks on, yet the same learning/training when intwined into a group development and coaching program shows that 80-90% of the information is embodied and retained 3-weeks later, 12-weeks later and 6-months after the program has completed. Why waste your corporate funding on training that will not be retained?
Want to shine?
Cut-the-crap coaching is about helping you get to the core of what is preventing you to shine and to thus create change rapidly. It is only for those who are compassionate and robust simultaneously. It requires courage, reflection, creativity, mindfulness and intentionality. Are you ready to shine, thrive and be all you know you can be?
